*Family Sessions are not 'Family Reunion' sessions. Please inquire about Reunion Rates for families larger than 6.

Family Portrait Sessions are a flat rate $275 which includes 1 High Resolution Retouched Image. Additional images $25 each.  Most family sessions can run 1 hour 30 minutes and is enough time to capture small moments, candid, and directed groupings of family members. Some folks need more time and some less time which is why I consider all my sessions a No Time Limit Session.

Studio Option:  Clients enjoy their very own studio experience for ease of private off street parking, privacy, clean facility, and no 'photobombing' to contend with typical in public locations. If booked, Professional Makeup, Hair, and Wardrobe stylists love the professional space to spread out and make the client comfortable getting camera ready.  I am the only photographer to use the space which is large, clean, well-ventilated and sanitized in between clients. I do not overbook daily sessions or allow more than 4 people in the studio at one time. All visitors are required to wear a mask with the exception of the client being photographed.

On Location Option: Sessions on location may be booked if health and safety guidelines are followed.  Location fee of $20 farther than 20 miles from 92111 will be required. Please keep read below regarding Location's crucial!

It is critical to book before September! Session is paid in full at booking which guarantees your date/time. A $50 cancellation fee will incur for cancellations and reschedule requests less than 72 hours prior to your booked date/time.  Due to high demand during the Holidays, there are fewer open slots/dates/times to reschedule a new session.  In Studio which turns into a snow flurry in a hurry as well as traditional backdrops.

* Location Requests for Holiday Sessions:  This is where you MUST Trust me...

San Diego has amazing locations to photograph and EVERYONE uses the same ones! I have shot at all the popular beaches and parks (Balboa *sigh) as I have battled it out with other photographers for the same locale or scenery over the years.  REALITY CHECK:  Expect many Crowds, Photo-bombing, waiting in line for use of a popular space/location/attraction behind other people getting their Holiday portraits up to 20 minutes, no bathrooms, sand (everywhere),  kids getting dirty or wet, lack of parking, getting lost, ever changing weather elements and light that can change quick!

I recommend use of your own or a friends home or yard, a neighborhood pocket park, a lesser known community park. I do not have time to location scout and look to clients to pre-plan and know the best times to visit location. Avoid the usual major parks and attractions unless you are shooting off-season! Trust me!

Times to shoot: 8am to 11am or 3pm to sunset. Mid day can work if there is shaded structure available to fit everyone. The 'Golden Hour'  is typically 3-6pm for that golden backlight.

By late August I may pre-planned locations throughout the county to offer. Please inquire!
